The district and advancement plan was developed based on the current efforts and focus for the Brooklyn Public Schools.
As we return to in-person learning after the last 18 months of COVID impacted learning models, we will focus of curriculum, pacing, assessment, monitoring and adjusting instruction and interventions to support accelerate learning.
Last year's SBAC data was released with caution about how to interpret the data and what we should do moving forward. We have reviewed the data and shared this during the September Board of Education Meeting.
The advancement plan is not based on past data, as it was in the recent years. We are focused on implementation of the curriculum and instruction.
