To begin your "Civil War" Project choose a person who had
a significant role in the US Civil War.

 

Use the Internet, Mrs. Hatzberger, Mrs. Stellitano or myself for ideas.

Some people you may want to consider:
Harriet Beecher Stowe, Jeb Stuart, Robert E. Lee, Clara Barton, Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, John Brown, Admiral Faragutt, Dred Scott, etc.


Your assignment is:

  1. Research the person you choose.
  2. Use the Inspiration templates to plan your work. Diagram and Outline
  3. Evaluate your web sources
  4. Write a two page MS WORD research paper
  5. Create a MS PowerPoint presentation.
    1. Presentation should include approximately 20 slides with graphics (pictures) and audio (music) on all slides. All graphics and audio must compliment the theme. Text should be entered primarily as notes, to be read during presentation.
  6. Present your PowerPoint presentation to your classmates.
  7. Create a one page web site using HTML.

Be sure to check out the "Civil War" project scoring rubric for information regarding how this project will will be evaluated.

As you begin your research remember that you must cite your research text and any graphics that you use in your PowerPoint presentation.
