The Agenda and the Interactive Science Notebook
(ISN) are important components of the science classroom.
These organizers provide you with an excellent format to communicate
to your parents what you are doing in class and to keep track of
your academic progress. It is your responsibility to fill in your
Agenda on a daily basis and to keep your science notebook (ISN)
neat and organized.
Your Interactive Science Notebook should be of a “3-ringed
binder” style dedicated only for science class. This notebook
(ISN) serves several purposes. It will serve as a place
to record classroom notes and personal reflections. It will also
provide you with a complete timeline of activities throughout the
school year. All notes, reflections, activity and worksheets are
to be kept in sequence in your ISN. Lab reports, tests,
and performance tasks will be kept in separate classroom folders.
Do not try to incorporate your science notes/documents in a binder
that you use for your other classes. Your will most likely loose
documents or run out of room before the end of the first quarter.
