United Services awarded Brooklyn Middle School a thousand dollar grant to create a link to the distsrict web site that will provide information for families on this important topic.
NECASA Survey Indicates
Need for Expaded Substance Abuse
Prevention Program at BMS
Eighth grade students at Brooklyn Middle School participated in a survey sponsored by NCASA in the fall of 2007. Survey questions concerned alchohol, tobacco, and other drug use, as well as gambling and the 5 domains of risk and protective factors. The results of this survey suggested a need to expand the program at BMS.
